ORA Miami Orchid Staghorn

The ORA Miami Orchid Staghorn is considered a fast growing species of Acropora. With fully extended polyps the ORA Miami Orchid is quite fuzzy. The growth tips of this Acropora are a unique purple, or “orchid” in color.

The Miami Orchid Staghorn can thrive in a variety of lighting conditions, ranging from power compacts, VHO and T-5, up to the more intense metal halides. It will also benefit from the weekly addition of food in the form of micro-plankton or other foods designed for filter feeding invertebrates.
