ORA Jeremy's Green Montipora

The ORA Jeremy’s Green Montipora has a purple base with bright green polyps. This coral has a branching growth form with white grown tips and large green polyps . This coral has similar growth patterns to a Montipora Digitata. Although the species of this coral is uncertain, it has been established that it is not a digitata.

This coral was obtained (and named after) Jeremy Russell of Coral Reef Aquarium back in 2004. This coral is the April 2009 ORA release.

The ORA Jeremy’s Green Montipora is considered a hardy coral, but not a very fast grower. When provided with strong lighting, this coral can appear greenish-yellow against a whitish tan background. This coral will grow under various lighting conditions ranging including the intense lighting provided by Metal Halides, as well as T5.
