The ORA Frogskin Acropora has yellowish green coloration and has a bumpy texture. The ORA Frogskin Acro has shown some polyps with a blue hue under certain lighting conditions.
This ORA coral has a similar growth pattern to the Oregon Tortuosa, but as the colony grows, multiple branches will merge together to form a large plate shape.
As with any Acropora, color intensity will vary with light intensity. As ORA uses natural sunlight, this coral has a light yellowish green due to the summer’s increased lighting conditions. Under the average sps-appropriate aquarium lighting, the ORA Frogskin Acro turns from a yellow to a very bright green, while shaded areas of this ORA coral may have an almost purplish tone.
