The ORA Blue Tortuosa is considered to be a rare coral. This coral grows in a branchy form with beautiful long blue branches with light blue tips. The ORA Blue Tortuosa coral prefers an aquarium environment with moderately-high light as well as strong, variable flow. Place this ORA coral on a rock along the top of the aquarium where it will receive ample nutrients and trace elements from the supplied flow.
The ORA Blue Tortuosa Acropora has a beautiful green base and dark blue and purple tips. this particular frag was moved to it’s current tank in Jan of 2009, and had absolutely no color. Several months later, this ORA Blue Tort is just beaming with greens and blues, and is just a beautiful colony.

The color exhibited in this photo is just crazy nice. You can see the deep blue with a bit of purple. However, you can also see a bit of green highlights. This is one of my favorite photos. I’ll have to ask Mark for an updated shot of this coral soon.
The picture of this ORA Blue Tortuosa shows the growth pattern of this coral. You can see how it branches out rather than tabling out. This coral has a nice deep color and very nice polyp extension.
