ORA Australian Delicate Staghorn

The ORA Australian Delicate Staghorn is a coral that originated from the reefs of Australia. This ORA sps coral has delicate, thin branches with bright blue tips and small fluorescent green polyps. The Australian Delicate Staghorn coral will improve it’s color intensity under strong aquarium lighting coupled with strong variable flow which can be provided by adequate powerheads and/or aquarium wave makers.

As with many species of Acropora, the ORA Australian Delicate Staghorn requires stable aquarium conditions. Appropriate levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, PH, as well as trace elements, along with low to undetectable levels of phosphates, nitrates and nitrites. The use of a protein skimmer along with adequate biological filtration provided by live sufficient live rock will help create an environment appropriate to this coral. This sps coral will also benefit from the addition of food in the form of micro-plankton, as well as other foods appropriate for filter feeding invertebrates.
